UCI MTB World Championships 2006

The mountainbiking event of the century for Rotorua and New Zealand. Hundreds of the world`s top mountainbiking athletes decended upon Mount Ngongotaha, to compete in Downhill and 4x disciplines. The kiwi contention was very strong in the Mens Junior DH where Cameron Cole took gold and was followed by fellow team mate Sam Blenkinsop who recieved silver.
